Hyderabad, December 14: Telangana Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma stated that the people of Telangana, across all age groups, possess immense talent, a hardworking nature, and business acumen. He spoke as the Chief Guest at the TTA-IMA Convention–2025 held at AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli.

The Governor mentioned that he arrived in Hyderabad about a year and a half ago and, during this time, has interacted with Telangana Telugu people of all ages on numerous occasions. He noted that a burning desire to grow and an aspiration to become entrepreneurs is clearly visible in everyone. He specifically highlighted that the startup culture is expanding rapidly in Telangana. He remarked that such deep public penetration of this mindset is yet to be fully realized in the Northern and Northeastern states.

AIG Hospitals Recognized in Eastern States as Well

The Governor mentioned that he had heard about AIG Hospitals during his tenure as part of the Tripura state government* and that the institution has gained good recognition in the Eastern states as well. "Back then, I used to wonder who founded AIG Hospitals. After learning about Dr. Duvvuru Nageshwar Reddy, I felt that only dedicated individuals like him could build such magnificent institutions and provide such medical services," the Governor praised.

Dr. Duvvuru Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals and a globally recognized Guru in Gastroenterology, stated that the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly expanding in the fields of medicine and diagnostics. He explained that diagnostic accuracy is increasing through AI technology, which is becoming a strong support for doctors in making clinical decisions. He added that the synergy of medical expertise and technology will make the future healthcare system more robust.

TTA and IMA Together Serving the People of Telangana: Dr. Jayapal Reddy

Dr. Jayapal Reddy, TTA Advisory Co-Chair who attended the event specially from the USA, spoke about the service activities undertaken by the Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA). He specifically recalled the medical aid and service activities provided by TTA to their motherland, Telangana, during the Corona pandemic. He expressed great happiness that TTA is ready to work with IMA Telangana to provide medical services to people across the state and is prepared to sign an MOU for this purpose.

Medical Services for the People in Collaboration with TTA: Dr. Kishan Porandla

IMA Telangana State President Dr. Kishan Porandla stated that the IMA's goal is to provide better medical facilities to the people of the state. He expressed joy at being ready to work with TTA in this direction and to sign an MOU for the same. He mentioned that through this collaboration, medical services in the rural and urban areas of Telangana would be further strengthened.

IMA Nationwide Services: Dr. Dilip Bhanushali

IMA National President Dr. Dilip Bhanushali stated that the IMA is the largest medical organization in the world. He explained the programs being undertaken by the IMA across the country for public health protection. He specifically mentioned the HPV vaccination program for Cervical Cancer prevention and awareness programs among drivers and the general public. He announced that the IMA has prepared a plan to extend this vaccination program to children starting next January.

Convention Begins with Lamp Lighting

Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the convention by lighting the lamp. Convener Dr. Duvvuru Dwarakanatha Reddy welcomed the guests, stating that continuous study and mutual cooperation are crucial in the medical field.

The event was attended by IMA Telangana State Finance Secretary Dr. Dayal Singh, TTA President Dr. Naveen Mallipeddi, Dr. P.V.
