At the 75 Years of Indian Constitution Conference organized by the Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocates Association in Amaravati, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of the “Nation First” approach. Addressing Chief Justice of India Justice B.R. Gavai and AP Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, the CM stated that social and economic equality must shape India’s future. He said India’s Constitution empowered individuals from all backgrounds—citing the rise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a tea seller to the nation’s leader. Chandrababu stressed that the judiciary plays a crucial role in safeguarding democracy by correcting societal wrongs. He also expressed concern over misuse of social media and urged citizens to uphold Ambedkar’s vision of equal voting rights for all. His goal, he said, is to build a “Healthy, Wealthy, Happy Society” with everyone’s cooperation. The CM praised Justice Gavai for his simplicity, fairness, and commitment to equality, noting that such leaders should continue guiding India. Highlighting India’s demographic advantage, Chandrababu said the country possesses abundant human resources unlike many nations facing ageing populations. He credited India’s economic rise to strong reforms and affirmed that by 2047, Indians will play a leading role globally. Referring to his earlier decisions on promoting IT, he said Hyderabad’s transformation stands as evidence of visionary governance. He reiterated that protecting sovereignty, promoting global harmony (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam), and respecting constitutional responsibilities are essential for nation-building.
