Chandrababu Naidu conducted an emergency teleconference with all District Collectors, SPs, and senior officials, directing them to remain on high alert. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert, warning that the cyclone will cross the coast near Kakinada on October 28, bringing wind speeds of 90–110 kmph and heavy rainfall between 80–100 mm across districts from Srikakulam to Tirupati.
