He also reaffirmed efforts to develop Andhra Pradesh as a major spiritual destination, noting the presence of renowned pilgrimage sites such as Srisailam Temple. The Chief Minister highlighted that these projects are vital for farmers’ livelihoods, regional development, and long-term water security. He also discussed pending issues related to central funding and emphasized the need for timely decisions to ensure uninterrupted progress of key infrastructure initiatives. The Chief Minister specifically urged the permanent withdrawal of the stop-work order on the Polavaram project, citing implementation hurdles caused by delays. He requested reimbursement of increased costs due to enhanced canal capacities and financial support for Phase II of the project, which includes land acquisition, rehabilitation, and protective embankments, requiring additional funding of about ₹32,000 crore. Proposals for the Polavaram–Nallamala Sagar link project were also presented under the national river interlinking framework. In addition, Naidu called for early resolution of inter-state water disputes, including the publication of the Vamsadhara Tribunal’s final report, formation of a Godavari Water Disputes Tribunal for Andhra Pradesh–Telangana issues, and expressed concerns over the proposed height increase of the Almatti dam, warning of its impact on downstream water availability for Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit Emmiganur constituency in Kurnool district on Friday to participate in the Your Land–Your Right programme. As part of the initiative, he will distribute new Pattadar Passbooks to farmers at a village meeting in Kalugotla. The Chief Minister will depart from the Camp Office in the morning and reach Kalugotla by 11:30 am, where he will address farmers after the distribution. He will later visit nearby agricultural fields and interact directly with farmers during a face-to-face discussion in the afternoon, followed by a meeting with party cadre, before returning to Amaravati in the evening. The state government has launched the distribution of new Pattadar Passbooks in 279 villages across Andhra Pradesh, covering two villages per Assembly constituency. So far, 1,16,870 draft passbooks have been prepared, of which eKYC has been completed for 91,038. In Kurnool district alone, 8,347 farmers across 13 villages are set to receive the new passbooks. On Friday, 1,178 farmers in Kalugotla village will be issued Pattadar Passbooks under the programme, aimed at strengthening land rights and transparency for farmers.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that comprehensive medical screenings will be conducted for over 7.2 million people across Andhra Pradesh to create detailed digital health profiles, with the objective of transforming the state into a “Healthy Andhra Pradesh.” During his visit to the Village Health Clinic at Thummisi village in the Kuppam constituency, the Chief Minister personally reviewed the digital health records of residents and interacted with beneficiaries to understand the implementation of the Sanjeevani Project. He stated that advanced technology is being leveraged to monitor public health, identify diseases early, and ensure timely treatment through expert medical consultations and essential medicines. The Chief Minister explained that the Sanjeevani initiative, launched as a pilot in Kuppam and later expanded to Chittoor district, will be scaled across the state within this year. With support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and TCS, the Digi-Nerve Center is enabling the creation and analysis of individual digital health records, including data from primary health centers and hospitals. He noted that health scoring will be introduced after conducting 42 types of medical tests, covering conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, anemia, and heart disease. The government also plans to introduce AI-based doctor services for medical guidance. During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with residents facing health challenges and directed officials to ensure specialized treatment. He also announced financial assistance of ₹3 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the family of a person who recently died due to cardiac arrest in Thummisi village.
